They exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator… (Romans 1:25)
On June 17 & 18, 2010, the Resurgence and Truth Xchange teamed up to present The Exchange: The Truth and the Lie. Over the course of two days, nine speakers showed us how we’ve exchanged the truth about God for a lie in our culture, worshipping created things instead of our Creator. I’ve compiled my notes from the main sessions into the following posts:
Dr. Peter Jones: Speaking the Gospel in a One-ist World
Kevin DeYoung: The Truth and the Lie in the Contemporary Church
Mark Driscoll: One-ism vs Two-ism
Dr. Peter Jones: The Truth and the Lie in Worship
Francis Chan: The Truth and the Lie in Social Justice
Mark Driscoll: One-ism in Culture
Dr. Peter Jones: Sexuality in a One-ist World
Mark Driscoll: Pastoral Care and One-ism
I hope you find these notes as helpful and challenging as I have.
