So, a bit of unexpected news:
I’m going to be taking a break from regular blogging until the beginning of September.
There are a couple of really good reasons for this:
First, we learned late last week that our family is moving apartments at the end of July (same complex, different building, one floor lower, long story). This is going to be a good thing for us longterm, but finding out we had to do this did turn our lives (and our apartment) upside down. This means we’ve got a lot of work to do very, very quickly. (And—surprise!—we are also going to North Carolina for seven days while this is happening.)
Second, I just had it confirmed that I am writing a very big and awesome project that also happens to have a very tight turnaround time. I cannot tell you more about it yet, but as soon as we’ve finalized a few final details, I’ll make an announcement on what it is. It is going to be a lot of fun to work on, I can tell you that.
So what does that mean for the blog? Well, it’s going to look something like this until I’m ready to get back into the swing of my normal routine:
- I’ll be doing my regular reading update post in July and August.
- I will be releasing episodes to wrap up the current season of Reading Writers.
- I will either post a weekly link share or point to some of the great content that’s on the site.
Then, Lord willing, I’ll get back to the normal schedule starting in September when I’ve wrapped the super big project.
See you in a few weeks!
