Things are always hectic with The Gospel Project, in a really good way. We’re gearing up for the launch of the next volume (which some churches have already begun, including my own), and we are fast approaching a very big deal moment in our study plan: The New Testament.
But more on that another time.
One of the many things that’ve kept us hopping are a couple of big content projects. One of those is familiar, the other… well, keep reading.
An update on The Hero of the Story
The Hero of the Story, my other podcast, has been relaunched in a new format. Every week, we’re offering two episodes to help you study, teach, and apply the big story and big truths of Scripture in your life and ministry. Part of how we’re doing that is by more closely connecting the content to the passages that are being studied by over 1.5 million people each week, while still keeping it very accessible to those not using our studies (but seriously, if you’re not already, get on that!).
Thursday’s episode unpacks one of the 99 essential doctrines that we explore each week in our curriculum (and also informs the Big Picture Questions and Answers for kids). This episode, in many ways, is also an extended commentary on something brand new that also kicks off today, actually.
Introducing 99 in :99: A New Video Series
Beginning this week, we’re also kicking off a brand-new video series called 99 in :99. Every episode, we’ll be explaining one of the 99 essential Christian doctrines from The Gospel Project in about 99 seconds (give or take a few seconds on a few).
To kick off the series, we’re looking at eight doctrines that inform our understanding of God’s revelation, beginning with general revelation.
Check out the first video here (and be sure to subscribe to the YouTube channel to stay up-to-date on these):
(In case you’re wondering, no I won’t be in all the videos, but I do handle this entire section.)
