Apparently it is #nationalpetday or something. So here is a look at the office manager, sleeping like it’s her job. Which it must be. Emily changed her hairstyle pretty drastically a while back, and needed a new photo. I was happy to help because she’s neat. After a full day in the new office set up (and second day with the new color), I think I’m going to enjoy it. Just need to get some more bookshelves eventually. Grateful for the opportunity to talk about career options, writing & publishing, and healthy churches students alongside my teammate, Brian Dembowczyk. Thanks for having us, Cedarville! Some kinda sickness has struck the Armstrong home, with at least two of us down for the count. Fortunately a new read came to the house today to help me fight off whatever is kicking my posterior: the first volume of Mark Waid’s run on Daredevil. Fun, swashbuckling adventures await! Another recent arrival, this time by a longtime internet friend, David Kaywood: A Call to Contentment, which releases 3/12. Looking forward to sitting down with this one soon. It’s hard to believe that “I’m a Christian—Now What” was released one year ago today. This book is one of the most meaningful I’ve written and certainly the most personal. It’s the book I wish someone had handed me 19 years ago after Emily and I became Christians and didn’t really know what that meant. And not just in the sense of not knowing the basic habits of the Christian life, but how it would affect every area of life. If you’re an adult who is new to the faith and don’t know where to start, I hope this book will serve you well.
